About Us
The purpose of the Jennifer Lynn Thompson Memorial Foundation is to fund specific research and awareness of brain tumors and brain cancers, with emphasis toward Glioblastoma Multiforme (GBM) and pediatric brain cancers.
Additional objective is to provide support, information resource, and hope to families, caregivers, and patients faced with these most difficult of conditions.
On May 14th 2015, our daughter Jennifer lost her battle to GBM (Glioblastoma Multiforme) brain tumor after 7 months from her initial diagnosis, Jennifer was 38 years old. The most significant and final request from Jennifer was to form a foundation that raises awareness and funding of this destructive and terminal disease in hopes of saving lives of children, as well other 'warriors' that are fighting for their lives on a daily basis.
We as parents know first-hand the meaning of the worst and darkest loss imaginable, the loss of your child, as well the trials, tribulations and struggles of those patients fighting GBM Brain Cancer. We are in hopes we can help that this foundation will provide support to save at least one life, provide awareness to 'care takers' and family members supporting their warriors journey.
